Ecco begins after the presentation of the Bergger paper in Fiesole in 1996, from
an idea by Cesare Bossi, Michele Burchi and Guy Gerard.

At the beginning Ecco was intended to distribute Bergger paper, then it began
to be also involved in a particular chemical line that was conceived in cooperation with Dante Gelmetti and produced by Chimifoto Ornano.

The spreading of ink jet printing leads to develop the distribution in this field,
at first with exclusive papers made by Cartiera Magnani, later with different
kinds of ink and the introduction on the Italian market of the Innova products.

Ecco was the first european distributor of Piezography inks.
